Chapter five: the confession game

As I lean in closer to her almost close to her lips, "HEY GUYS LET'S PLAY A GAME!!" I heard Lexy shout I pull back quickly. Just in time to see Lexy walk in with everyone else behind her, they all look over at us and I smile at them. "What game do you have in mind?" Ashley said curiously.

Lexy grinned mischievously and sat on the floor and motioned for all of us to sit down as well. I look at Ravelyn and reach my hand out to her, "Come on this might be interesting." I said to her. She smiled slightly and took my hand as I helped her up out of the chair. We all sat down on the floor in a circle type way it was Lexy, Ashley, CC, Jake, Andy, Ravelyn, and then me.
All eyes on Lexy as she looked around at each of us her eyes only lingering on Ashley and Ravelyn, and then she opened her mouth to talk. "Ok so the name of the game is confession." Lexy said from the corner of my eye I saw Ravelyn shake her head and smirk. Lexy stared her down and continued on as if she didn't get interrupted.

"Anyways we will go around the circle and confess one thing, then the second time you call out a name and the name of the person has to do another confession it can be a serious confession or funny." Lexy finished explaining I nodded and then looked at her "Alright you go first." I said to her and I smiled at her as she looked down shyly.

We all stare at her as she took a deep breath and then let it out before confessing. "I am a major Purdy fan." She mumbled her cheeks growing deep red, I saw Ashley smile as everyone oooohhheed and aaahhhheeeddd at her playfully.  After teasing Lexy for a bit it was Ashley's turn, all eyes on him and he just looked around smiling. "I accidentally read an Andley fanfic."  He confessed laughing at the look on Andy's face "What's an Andley fanfic?" he asked.

That's when everyone cracked up laughing even Ravelyn couldn't help but laugh. "Oh Andy…" Lexy sighed and then giggled trying hard to be nice but failing. "What is it?" Andy asked again and before we could continue the game, we looked up a fanfic of Andley for Andy we all watched his reaction. "WHAT THE…." He said then he looked at Ashley and Ashley winked at him playfully.

"Hey calm down over there I love chicks." Andy said raising his hand up in a karate chop way. I shake my head in amusement as they continued teasing Andy, after a couple of minutes it was CC's turn. "Well when I was little I used to love pink…" he said shrugging and even laughing at himself. "What about now?" Ravelyn asked curiously "Nope hate it." CC said grinning.

Soon it slowly made its way to me I thought for a moment, a very long moment until I knew what I was going to confess. I slowly open my mouth and say "I like someone in this room." I said slowly, everyone looked confused all but Lexy her eyes lit up with something I couldn't tell from. "What do you mean?" she asked innocently then it hit me she knew I meant that I was beginning to like Ravelyn more than just friends.

I could feel her eyes on me and everyone else waiting for me to reply, but I wasn't ready to confess so I smiled at Lexy. "As a very close friend." Everyone then shook their heads uninterestedly but Lexy pursed her lips in annoyance. I smile and look at Ravelyn, it was time for her to confess something she closed her eyes in thought.

What on earth could I possibly confess to these guys who already know the truth? Then I chose something that I knew would get Lexy concerned but oh well. "I don't believe in love." I said with my eyes still closed, I open them to have tons of sad eyes looking at me. Lexy watched me with concern and I tried my best to not look at her, I saw Jake and his eyes showed hurt and something else.

He got up and walked away from the group, I watch him confused and then sat there for a while. After a few rounds of some interesting confessions Lexy ended the game and started up a new game a card game this time, it was only Ashley, CC, Jinxx, and Andy who were playing.

Leaving me on the couch looking out of the moving window, I decide to go looking for Jake to make sure he's ok. I saw him playing his guitar leaning against the door to the bathroom; I slide down next to him. "So what's wrong?" I asked him he shook his head keeping his eyes on his guitar, while stared at the wall in front of me plain brown.

That's when I heard the familiar tune of the mortician's daughter coming from Jake. I watch him play the guitar of my most favorite old song of Black Veil Brides. I wanted to sing along but stopped myself; there was no need to embarrass myself in front of Jake.

But as he played the guitar it was so peaceful and it was getting late so I leaned against his shoulder. I closed my eyes to have a better visual affect but began to slowly fall asleep on his shoulder after a few moments I went out cold and was in a deep sleep.

After our card game we decided to hit the hay but as we passed by the bathroom, we saw Jake and Ravelyn asleep together. I smiled and kept walking towards Ashley's room considering I was going to bunker down with him. He was already shirtless and only in his boxers. I had to practically kick him out so I could change into my tank top and short shorts.

I let him back and in as I sit on the bed and lean against the wall he sits down next to me. I look over at him as he looks back "So Lexy." He said slowly I nod and let him continue "Do you believe in love?" he asked me I thought for moment all my life I had to watch my mother and father fight and argue before a divorce finally screwed up the whole family. I sigh and shake my head quickly. "Why not?" Ashley asked me I turn my head to look at him.

"You wouldn't be interested in my life story." I mumbled but he kept pressing I finally gave in "Ok no I don't because for 18 years I watched my parents fight and argue, that's all the love I've known fight, be miserable, then finally decide to get divorced." I said to him then I turned the spot light on him, "What about you?" I asked interestingly he sat there thinking long and hard.

I couldn't help but notice how cute he looked but I shook the thought away as I waited for his response. "Yes I am just waiting for that right girl." Ashley said he seemed to be thinking of the perfect. A part of me thought it was sweet the other part of me was thinking rationally. "Oh I see and how will you know who is the perfect girl?" I asked wondering how the hell he will know if the girl is right for him or not.

He shrugged and looked over at me then smiled his sexy grin that made me blush. "I'll know her when I see her." Was all he said I nodded and looked down at my phone 2:33 Am. I looked at Ashley and yawned "We better go to bed." I said to him he nodded and laid down I laid down as well.
But there was barely room for two people so I had to rest my head on his chest. I fell asleep to the rhythm of his heart pounding slowly and gently like a drum solo to put a baby to sleep.
